He absolutely enjoys feasting upon the deer that end up in the fresh-kill pile, which results in his large shape. history: Cringestar developed in the borderlines of Fireclan and Earthclan, under the she-cat Sorrelflare of Fireclan, and Gorsestreak of Earthclan. He never found out that Gorsestreak was his biological father, and never would. As Cringekit, he was often mocked by his clanmates for being known as the kit who did not know his father. Sorrelflare never told him, so why would she ever? With this, Cringekit was insecure about himself, that was, until his apprenticeship ceremony. As Cringepaw, he was assigned to the guidance of Coalface, who at that time was considered to be his best friend. It was as if Coalface completely understood the calico, and Cringepaw was able to tell Coalface anything, learning to boost up his self esteem, eventually earning the name of Cringeshadow. As Cringeshadow was a warrior, he expressed his feelings for Coalface, only to be turned down. This did not really affect the tom though, for he had tons of friends by this rate. He late then found out that Coalface turned him down because she was afraid of losing him if anything were to happen. Cringeshadow soon became the deputy of Fireclan after mentoring Reedpaw, who then became Reedtail. He saw the death of his former apprentice during a skirmish against Earthclan. Cringeshadow never intended to spill any blood that day, but he killed the cat who killed his former apprentice - Gorsestreak. Later, Cringeshadow was called forth to become the leader of his clan.
